Jose and Liso were best friends living a cruel and tortured life in the circus together. Then they were rescued and had almost one year together at a sanctuary before poachers broke into their sanctuary and
brutality murdered them!

Somehow, Jose and Liso survived! Only to be viciously murdered in their happy state. The attackers broke in to the sanctuary at night and killed the two lions.
When they were found their heads had been chopped off and their bodies skinned.
The disgusting human beings who did this deserve to be punished and authorities are working to find them.
But in the meantime, we must insist the other animals at the sanctuary are protected! Please sign the petition to ask the South African Government to step in.
The two pals were part of a 33 lion rescue from abusive circuses. Many of the lions in that group had been abused for years, some with claws taken out or teeth knocked out, many having endured severe beating, neglect and malnutrition and medical care. They survived hell and they deserved happy lives!
