End barbaric cruelty in slaughterhouses - mandatory CCTV

Sickening reports of extreme cruelty in slaughterhouses is becoming commonplace and action should be taken to eradicate it. All slaughterhouses should only be licensed if they have CCTV in all areas which is available for inspection at any time. Supermarkets should also drive this. They are always promoting themselves as having the highest ethical standards but what about what goes on behind closed doors in these awful places?
