Demand an expungement for Dewayne Smithers, and that he be allowed back into Fayette County Public Schools for work with our youth!

Dewayne Smithers made a mistake over 15 years ago, which included a marijuana charge, and since then he has not only given his life to Jesus Christ, but for the last 10 years he has worked with Fayette County Public Schools as a vendor/contractor.

He has been a motivational speaker for students, telling them of the mistakes he made and how to not make those same mistakes, or far worse ones for themselves. He connects with marginalized, povertized and at risk youth to help them understand the importance of their choices!

Dewayne was recently told he could no longer work or sub as a teacher for Fayette County Public Schools! This has been his livelihood for 10 years, and he has built report with the teachers and students here in Fayette County. All if this has been stripped from him in an instant!
