Canada, Let Menstrual Pads and Tampons Be Exempt from GST!

Items like contacts and incontinence pads are exempt from taxes in Canada. However, taxes still have to be paid on menstrual products, including pads and tampons.

Using menstrual products is not an option - they are necessary for anyone who menstruates, just like contacts or incontinence pads might be. Therefore, menstrual pads and tampons should be exempt from GST.

Tell the Canadian government to allow essential menstrual products to be non-taxable!
