I am a huge fan of Beetlejuice. He may be a villain, but he is lovable and funny. I am a goth and a Tim Burton fan, as well.
I went to see "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" the other day. I enjoyed parts of the film. Debatably, this is better than the first, as there is more of Beetlejuice and the wedding scene is so romantic, cute and well done.
However, I was upset that it appeared as though Beetlejuice may have been permanently ended or banished when Lydia said his name three times. I know Beetlejuice was a villain, but I don't want his punishment to be that harsh and I think he deserves a happy ending. Before the release of the original movie, test audiences didn't want Beetlejuice's punishment to be too harsh. I think that Warner Bros and Tim Burton should listen to them and us when we kindly ask for another "Beetlejuice" movie with a happier ending for Beetlejuice.
If there were to be another movie, they could complete the sequence and give us "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice."
Both the first and second "Beetlejuice" movies have proven to be very successful. In fact, in with "Edward Scissorhands", "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Corpse Bride", they have proven to be some of Tim Burton's most successful and iconic movies. Please don't let the fans down and give us a sequel even more amazing than the other two and give Beetlejuice a good ending!
