St. Jude's hospital accepts donations from a coon hunt where raccoon's are hunted with dogs and killed and maimed in the process. There are multiple hunts that take place but they disguise this by calling the publicity hunt a "Field Trial" the other coon hunt money is filtered thru this field trial so it looks better to public eyes. This is blood money and no different than taking money from a dog fighting ring or drug dealer. There are better ways to raise money for your hospital.

Please reconsider accepting money from the raccoon hunts. There are more peacful and better ways to raise money for your hospital. The negative publicity you are receiving and continue to receive tarnishes the image you have worked to promote for the hospital. Killing or torturing animals to raise money for your hospital is something I would say you probably could do without. Maybe even no longer accepting this money and denouncing it publically would actually generate more money from additional donors. Respecting all life to save children looks much better than a bunch of hunters looking for a kill.
Please reconsider accepting the money from this event.
