It crushed her skull. Demand an end to trapping on public land in MN
Lieben a happy healthy 6 month old German Shepard was walking with her Mom and an older dog when something scared them. Both Lieben and the other dog ran into the woods. A few minutes later the older dog return to to her mother but Lieben never returned.
Two weeks went by and 2 days before Christmas her mother heard a banging on the patio door. It was Leiben! There she stood with the trap crushing her skull so badly her brain was exposed. She had lost 20 lbs but somehow she was so desperate to reach her Momma that she made it home.
After a tearful goodbye they held their little pup and put her to sleep.
In MN setting a dog killing trap on the ground is legal so the trapper got his trap back and had a merry Christmas.
Help us ban trapping on MN public land. We'll contact MN Governor Tim Walz and DNR Commissioner Sarah Strommen and demand that trappers stop killing our dogs.
