Kingston Students for Democracy

During the recent student union elections at Kingston University, there have been numerous allegations of foul-play. Candidates have been accused of bribery, voting on behalf of students, misleading students, intimidation, verbal, racial and sexist abuse, emboldened by a public voting system.

We believe that this environment means that the elections were not free, fair and democratic and thus any results are null and void. We demand new, democratic elections are called pending a frank and urgent review of election procedures.
