As we know, 70% of Earth is consist of water but we are still unable and give no importance to protect the life of marine animals. The life of marine animals is in a great exigency due to the presence of garbage and plastics in ocean. Each year a large number of marine animals are died due to eating or affecting from garbage or plastic.
Human beings are threatening marine life from distinct actions including toxic wastes, floating plastics and oil spills. I am referring here the viral video in which a field biologist Christine Figgener is trying to remove 10-12 cm plastic straw from the nostril of a turtle during her research trip with companions. This video and pain of turtle describes that how much marine life is suffering from water pollution. I demand from United Nations and International Maritime Organization (IMO) to take notice this increasing water pollution and make strict laws to protect marine life as well.
