With tactics usually only used by the Department of Tobacco and firearms, the DNR stormed into a no kill shelter in Kenosha, armed to the teeth accompanied by Sherriff personnel. They corralled the directors and other people present, took possession of an infant fawn that had been brought in as an orphan and brought back to health at the shelter and KILLED her ! This is one more example of the DNR's blatant abuse of power. Please speak out in the name of this innocent fawn who's life was taken needlessly. Time and time again, the DNR, a state agency who is paid with tax dollars has ignored,dismissed and declined to act in service to the public trust, have betrayed their mission to preserve and protect Wisconsin wildlife and our wilderness. From the mining permits for an open pit copper mine to the tragic death of this fawn. They must be held to account ! We must coalesce to implement a change in the power dynamics. The DNR needs to be reminded that they work for us and we will be silenced by their intimidation no more.
