Because public opinion is the only way to stop the slaughter of more caged animals being shot and killed by police officers in Murphy, Texas. In August of 2011 Chief Cox authorized Officer McCarty to shoot and kill a bobcat, that was already inside a cage. No danger to anyone.
If something is not done now, further atrocities will follow.

In August 0f 2011, in the city of Murphy, Texas, Police Chief G.M. Cox authorized his officer McCarty, to shoot and kill a bobcat, that was safely in a cage. This atrocity is unforgiveable. The only way Chief Cox is going to pay for this killing, is for public opinion to oust him from his position of authority.
