Animal cruelty investigators in Houston, Texas recently discovered
26 animals kept in shocking conditions.
Someone had collected 8 puppies, 11 dogs, and 7 cats... and then held them without food, water, or veterinary care. On top of that, their home was filled with roaches, feces, urine, and piles of garbage.
The neglect and cruelty of this owner caused horrible harm to these innocent animals. The only way to ensure that no other animals ever have to endure the same fate is to ban this pet owner from ever owning animals again. Multiple animals were tied up on chains, and many were emaciated or in pain from untreated medical problems. Several cats were locked inside wire crates that also contained old trash, empty bags, and miscellaneous filth strewn around them.
These dogs and cats were lucky they survived such horrible neglect! But future animals might not be so lucky.
