Tell Speaker Mike Johnson: Do your job! Work with Democrats to avoid a government shutdown

Speaker Mike Johnson and House Republicans are sending us straight toward a government shutdown unless they get their act together and pass a spending bill within the next few days.  But Johnson is trying to do it with only Republicans, and he is failing miserably, given that his razor-thin majority means a handful of GOP extremists can block any bill – and they are hellbent on doing just that.

The sensible thing to do would be to work with Democrats on a compromise bill, and tell the extremists to take a hike. But Johnson hasn't done it.  

A shutdown would cause chaos in the lives of millions of Americans, and we can't let it happen. Demand Mike Johnson and House Republicans do their jobs and work with Democrats to keep the government open >>
