We, the undersigned, Demand that Jacob Spradling be held fully accountable in a court of law for the brutal torture and killing of his ex-girlfriends dog "Moose". His disturbing video confession of the details warrant that maximum charges be kept and NOT reduced in any plea bargain! Further, he should not POSSESS ANY ANIMALS while out on bail and if convicted, be barred from possessing animals and receive a significant jail sentence!
MURPHYSBORO , ILL. — a Jackson County Grand Jury has indicted Jacob K. Spradling, age 22, of Murphysboro, Illinois, with charges of Animal Torture, a Class 3 Felony, and Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, a Class 4 Felony, for an incident that occurred on or about June 19, 2021. He is next due in court on 4/22/2022 for a case management conference.
Spradling is charged with killing and torturing his girlfriends dog "Moose" because he felt jealous of the dog and didn't like him and felt the dog was interfering with his relationship. Spradling made a long video confession of the dogs murder and left it in the home of the now ex girlfriend. It was subsequently found after the dogs death and police were contacted.
The video confession (caution) is extremely disturbing as Jacob Sradling rambles on about how he tortured and killed the dog,, at times smiling and indicating how he enjoyed torturing the dog.
There are 2 utube videos of the confession under "Justice for Moose" . one is 25 minutes and the other about 2 and one-half.
