In Canada dog meat is legal and anyone can kill their dog for meat

How can people protest China if dog meat in Canada is perfectly legal?

If, as a Canadian, you think this is not a widespread problem in Canada, fine then make it illegal by law to make sure it does not happen and cannot happen.
