Help Feed the Hungry!

Hunger is all around us, and with the world's population approaching 7 billion people the problem promises to grow.  Within the United States alone it is estimated that 1 in 6 children suffer from hunger!  In developing countries hundreds die daily from hunger.

There are a multitude of opportunities for each of us to assist in helping to feed the hungry.  We can volunteer our time to serve meals in a soup kitchen or shelter, or we can help staff a food pantry or food bank in our community.  If we have the resources we can donate food to soup kitchens, churches, food banks, or other charities; or donate funds to support programs to feed the hungry worldwide.
