Sign here to join over 100 who have already signed hard copies of petitions to show your support for this redesign of the 'Crosswalk Crime' that has been visited upon the VDL House; City Monument #640 at 2300 Silver Lake Blvd.
The hope is to downgrade this crosswalk to resemble one at nearby Deane st. and Glendale Blvd. No poles, lights or buttons; but simple 'pedex' signs only and the existing crosswalk markings. After some months of operation, if anyone has the funds, flashing lights in the pavement could be added.
If we can get 200 or more people to sign on, we hope to convince Eric Garcetti, currently running for Mayor, that here are votes for his success!

Below is what we hope to get back to, and in future to trim some of the trees blocking the view.
Why not something like this, which is at nearby Glendale Blvd. at Deane, but do this to the right of the above scenes, at the new crosswalk, well out of sight to/from VDL?
