We are calling for a fairer, proportional electoral system where all votes count equally. A fairer electoral system could restore the public's trust in our democracy.

A fairer electoral system is the key to resolving many of the issues that people care about, everything from reducing poverty to tackling the climate crisis. Nothing will make a bigger difference than changing the First Past The Post electoral system that's the root of so many problems in our politics.

Our message is simple: if we want real change, we must first replace our unfair voting system.

We need the UK's major political parties to back Proportional Representation for UK General Elections. In 2022, we saw the Labour Party Conference vote overwhelming in favour of Proportional Representation voting for General Elections.

This year, the Labour Party joined other parties (including the Green Party, the Liberal Democrats, and the SNP) in recognising that FPTP is at the root of many problems in our politics.
