Be a voice for elephants

The Illegal Wildlife Trade is one of the most immediate threats to endangered species.

The international trade in wild animals is estimated to be worth billions of dollars a year and threatens many species' survival. The ivory trade puts African elephants at great risk of extinction: elephants are being killed so their tusks can be used as trophies or made into trinkets.

From September 24th to October 5th, world leaders will gather in Johannesburg, South Africa for the 17th Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) – a crucial time for wildlife conservation. If the rules regarding trade in ivory are changed, elephants in some African countries will be placed in a different category of protection and ivory could be legally traded.

This will be a devastating blow to elephants in Africa.

You can become a public voice for elephants. Tusk is organizing to speak up for elephants during CITES, and we need all the support we can get to ensure more elephants don't fall victim to poachers and the illegal wildlife trade.

Sign your name and stand with Tusk to be a voice for elephants!
