Two Bears Are Living In Depressing Captivity at a General Store

Three Bears General Store in Tennessee has two Asiatic black bears captive and on display for shoppers in an attempt to sell merchandise. In fact, the store advertises these captive bears on huge road-side LED signs to bring in tourists!

These bears would be much better off at a refuge or sanctuary rather than being exploited for display at the store!

The Three Bears General Store prides itself on "saving" these bears from a supposed "kill farm," but apparently sees no issue with the continued exploitation of these animals for quick cash from paying tourists.

The enclosure is depressing to say the least. Open on most sides, the enclosure has no greenery and is lined by observation decks where visitors can pay extra to throw food at these depressed animals. These captive bears have nothing to do but lick rocks as a poor form of stimulation.

The bears in captivity have been denied the chance to live the way bears are supposed to – in the wild. There used to be five bears in the General Store, but three have died. Act now to save the remaining two bears while there's still time!
