This Elephant Camp is trying to come off as a sanctuary. This is not by any means or definition a Elephant Sanctuary. These Elephants are worked very hard.

Pattaya Elephant Village is a sanctuary for former working elephants. The Elephant Village features elephant performance, elephant bathing, training of elephants including a parade of re-enactment of elephant war. Elephant trekking is available through a small jungle in the village. The elephant show is performed at 2.30 pm. only. There are only 4 rounds of trekking a day at 08.30 am., 10.30 am., 12.30 pm., and 04.30 pm.

DOESN'T QUITE SOUND LIKE RETIREMENT TO ME! That's a pretty heavy work schedule for Elephants that have worked their whole lives! We Demand These Elephants Be Retired To A True Sanctuary!
