MSNBC's chief Rashida Jones recently told reporters that she would be open to having a Donald Trump town hall like the widely panned one hosted by CNN.
"Would I say yes? It would be a conversation. I think you'd have to put parameters about how to control the environment," said Jones, adding that their network is "having conversations with all of the candidates" about "how to bring their point of view to the audience."

CNN's town hall with Trump was nothing short of a disaster. In a garish, 70-minute cash-and-ratings grab, Trump bragged about being allowed to do sexual assault, trashed E. Jean Caroll, praised his "beautiful" insurrection, and spewed a torrent of conspiracies and lies that were largely left unchallenged by the overwhelmed — and Republican — moderator.
Trump has nothing new to say to the American people and nothing of any value whatsoever to offer. If MSNBC hosts a Trump town hall or interview or gives him a platform of any kind, you can be sure he's just going to spout more outrageous lies and ridiculous conspiracy theories.
