HELP MAKE ANIMAL CRIMES PUNISHABLE BY LAW

There are too many animal crimes, horrific animal cruelty torment stories, worldwide and Canada wide. I can only hope to do so much so let us start in Canada. Far too often, you hear of a case where an animal is maimed,beaten, and ultimately killed, or worse, left to suffer in imaginable fear and pain. And far too often, these disgusting perpetrators leave the courthouse (if it even goes that far), with a slap on the wrist, a small fine, and nothing more. It makes me ill to my stomach, and if you are reading this, I hope you feel the same. These individuals performing the crimes should be accountable for their actions. They should be fined, jailed (6 months minimum), and forbidden from owning or being in the vicinity of animals for the remainder of their lives. Please help me in signing this pledge and bring justice to our animal angels, those who cannot speak for themselves. Thank you.
