Ban the public sale of fireworks

Backyard fireworks are dissruptive not only to neighbours but pets and other wildlife that may live around your area, there are countless stories of people useing these devices to scare or mame animals, some of which have had to be put down because of injurys, and these people who do this are never prosecuted for their actions, if you agree please sign, just recently in early December 2012,someone in Springcreek Marlborough, let off fireworks and frightend a foal in a paddock, it was found dead in a fence with a broken neck, I understand the police are looking for those reponsible, this is only one story, the public sale of fireworks must be stopped.
