The Tennyson Dunes are the best example of pre-European coastal dunes left on the Adelaide Plains and are one of the only places for people to connect with nature. Home to rare plants and animals, they are visited by thousands of students every year and enjoyed by countless other visitors.
Yet they are at risk of inappropriate development.
We urge you to sign this petition, asking the South Australian Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation, the Hon Ian Hunter MLC, to dedicate the Tennyson Dunes for conservation under the Crown Land Management Act 2009.
