Keep Erb pool open do not replace with splash pads

Erb pool has been in our community for many many years, our city is thinking that replaceing it with a splash pad would benefit our great city! This pool is one of 2 outdoor pools serving several communities but namely Appleton WI. It has been replaced in our park once before, the old " bird bath" is gone. The newer pool apparently is beyond repair and our mayor would like it replaced with a splash pad! I agree with many of the decisions made by our Mayor and council but this is unacceptable! It's a part of us and needs to be repaired or replaced with a comparable pool, not a splash pad! Please people from all over the U.S. Still use this pool when home visiting. Please reconsider your stand on our community pool!
