Don't let the shooting of Zandvoort dune deer begin!

The provincial government of North Holland has decided to reduce the population of dune deer living in Zandvoort seaside resort from 3000 to 800 in next five years because they say the deer cause havoc to crops, traffic accidents and have an adverse effect on biodiversity in the region.

Where we are now, have we not taken from the nature enough yet?

Is not it time to finally ask ourselves how far back show we push the nature because of our 'human" needs?

Because people have to plant their vegetables and comfortably drive their cars forest animals have to give their lives? Is that what we call a civilisation?

Please don't let the barbaric shooting begin!
