Demand Owner Surrender Dogs be Given the Same Hold time as Stray Dogs, Now!

When a dog is owner surrendered (Owner brings dog to shelter because he no longer wants to care for the animal) that animal has maybe 2-3 days tops to live before it is euthanized . When a stray is brought into a shelter, the dog is given a 7 day hold to be rescued or adopted before it is euthanized. My goal is to change the law so that equal amounts of hold time be given to owner surrenders as are given to strays. I am an animal advocate and cross post dogs, both owner surrenders and strays on social media in order to help save the lives of thousands of animals each day.
