Ozzie, our family dog of 4 years, was sadly seized on Sunday 13th March 2016, after attacking another dog - something Ozzie has never ever done before, and also the owner of Benny getting bitten while trying to intervene. Somebody actually entered our garden in the middle of the night and unbolted the garden gate from inside, hence the reason he got out in the first place.Ozzie was taken away to a secret Police-approved kennels in Hertfordshire, where he was seen by a DLO. The DLO has assessed him and, unfortunately, Ozzie has measured up, and has been deemed to be of "pit bull” type. Both myself and my children are absolutely heartbroken, and we intend to fight through the courts to save his life and get him home as a registered exempted dog. This could take months, but every day we are a step closer.
