Fireworks: Wildlife and Pets Scared to Death - Can We be Better Neigbors?

Imagine the effect the noise and pollution of fireworks have on pets and wildlife.
Every blast traumatizes all, scares some to death, and leaves the streets littered with toxic trash. We humans can do better. We can be better neighbors.

Last New Year, many cities in Germany muted their NY celebration out of respect for our incoming refugee population. Organizers used amazing sound and laser light shows rather than dirty, smelly fireworks. Good thinking!
Now let us extend that consideration to our wildlife and pets.
Please be a good neighbor and protect our fellow Earthlings by finding more responsible ways to celebrate. How can we enjoy fireworks when they damage those we love?
