Conservation land helps wildlife. There are 41,415 endangered plant and wild animal species. Conservation land would help boost their numbers. Wildlife deserves to stay and conservation land could help! In fact, 1 in 1,000,000 species die naturally each year. In the next decade humans will be driving wild animals to extinction 1,000 times faster. We have already lost about 45% of our wildlife. Jane Goodall (conservationist) has said, “In 200 years, people will look back on this time specifically and wonder, ‘How could people just let so many beautiful creatures die?’” Another one of my favorite quotes is, “Saving wildlife and wilderness is the responsibility of all thinking people. Greed and personal gain must not be permitted to decimate, despoil, and destroy the earth’s irreplaceable treasure for its existence is essential to the human spirit and the well-being of the earth as a whole. All life has just one home- the earth- and we as the dominant species must take care of it.” -Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick. Wildlife is worth fighting for and this is the time to save them. In the next decade, we will be going through a sixth mass extinction worse than the dinosaurs. That is horrific. Wildlife numbers are going faster then ever. Almost 7,200 were slaughtered every day in the U.S. alone last year in 2014.
Conservation land seems like the only way. It keeps the wild animals safe from harm and they will breed more effectively. Conservation land protects wildlife from pollution and all types of hunting. Wildlife is reducing faster then ever and with a couple of clicks you could change wildlife's future for the better.
