To be able to carry on its great work after nine and half years of doing so:-) 

It has not cost the councils any money at all they have not funded this work for 9 1/2 years and has Cost the Hunt family around £200,000 to carry off the rescue work so far :-)

We have released and help looked After a well over 300 barn owls in our time here 

we also help feed wild ones that cost us around £4000 a year 

to help them survive in these troubled times 

where their is not good areas anymore 

as most of the places for them to live have goneand buildings that have been removed and or made into houses

We rescue Badgers - Foxes - Deer  

as well

 all funded by ourselves hunt family.

We also need to be on the land to care for the animals 24 hours a day 

thus that's why we stay and live on this part of land at Pirates Cove

 which the council now would like to evict us from 

so we could no longer do our work here 24 hours a dayAlso we were told by the council that because we visit hospitals and hospices and schools and terminally ill people with owls that are kept on here or other animals that are kept on here on the Land at Pirates Cove

this is also got to stop 

as this is in their eyes 

a illegal breach of planning 

so the animals have been told to leave and myself by WEYMOUTH and WESTDORSET  Councils

 before the end of this year 2012 :-(

This work is important to carry on as all these animals and birds we have rescued in the south coast of England and also all over England may be would have died if they have not came here because all the other animal rescue centres full to Bursting point and quite often have to turn animals away and wildlife.
