Justice for chimpanzee shot dead in Malaysia

In 2015, three chimpanzees were sent to a zoo in Malaysia. They were kept separated in bleak and desolate cages for more than two years.

In 2017, they were transferred to a new zoo in Malaysia.

Before the zoo was opened to the public, one of the chimpanzees escaped her night cage and was sadly shot dead by zoo security. Her tragic death came after years of being exploited in a Japanese TV show and abused.
