Demand a new law for cats that get run over

It's devastating to see how many cats are left on the side of the road to die after being hit by a car.i want a new law to be passed for these poor cats the same as there is a law for dogs.these poor animals are left to die in agonising pain and alone. These are someone's pet,loved one or a companions. Owners are left searching the streets looking for cats that haven't returned home to find them dead on the road or never see them again. Any person who is behind the wheel of a car should be made responsible for their actions and if unlucky to hit an animal should by law be responsible to seek the help of vet immediately so the cat can have any medical treatment to save their lives or to be put to sleep so they suffer no more pain.
