BP, withdraw support for Parkdene wetlands filling station!

BP has agreed to supply fuel to a filling station being built on a wetland in Ekurhuleni, South Africa. This project was initiated years ago but fuel company Sasol rightfully withdrew support due to community objections and environmental concerns. Now the new developers have obtained environmental clearance through dubious means-they refuse to provide a copy of the water-rights permission. We demand that BP withdraw support for this dangerous development built on the 100 year flood plain! Deepwater Horizon was also a disaster caused by pushing safety limits in pursuit of profit!
