REPEAL THE AMERICAN HORSE SLAUGHTER ACT!!

Slaughtering horses for food is not only offensive to millions of people, it is a violation of accepted Humane Laws.  Horses are not food for consumption.  They are companion animals with a close affinity to their human counterparts.  Whether horse meat is sold in the United States or abroad does not render this unconscionable slaughter any more acceptable.  There is neither an excuse or reason for this.  It must end now!!!
