Birth control has become a basic part of life in America today and should be considered a fundamental right protected under the United States Constitution. The right of women in America to access birth control is currently under attack by certain religious groups. Some Republicans even want to ban it outright in certain states. 98% of women in America use birth control at one point in their lives but anti-abortion groups are not satisfied with simply restricting abortion, they also want to completely destroy female autonomy by restricting a woman's access to birth control and even by banning it outright. We cannot stand by and let this happen. Please sign my petition to have an amendment added to the United States Constitution guaranteeing the right of women to have access to birth control.

We the undersigned want an amendment added to the Constitution of the United States of America guaranteeing the right of American women to have access to birth control in all its forms. We see this as a fundamental right. 98% of American women use birth control at some point in their lives and has become one of the cornerstones of female autonomy and empowerment. It therefore should be considered a right guaranteed by the Constitution.
