Opposed to the Japantown Better Neighborhood Plan

 The preservation and protection of San Francisco's Japantown is at stake with the Better Neighborhood Plan.

Many Japantown community "leaders" would like the San Francisco Planning Commission to endorse the Plan; however, there is a strong opposition from outspoken members of the Japantown community who are concerned that this plan will put the entire community at risk.  These concerned community members want additional time to review the Plan so they are able to input their own opinions and views.

This community will continue to be torn apart unless if the Japantown Better Neighborhood Plan is fully and mutually agreed upon by all stakeholders.

We the undersigned are concerned stakeholders of Japantown and OPPOSE any endorsement of the Japantown Better Neighborhood Draft Plan.  We request that the San Francisco Planning Commission allow the community an opportunity to better understand and address the proposed recommendations so that we can clearly address and respond to the impact on the future of Japantown.
