Jim Johanning spent nearly 6 years in the Healthpartners Plastic and Hand Surgery Department. He is an extremely dedicated PAc, who loved his patients and loved his work, including his employer. In April of this year, Healthpartners abruptly terminated Jim from the job he loved. Jim was not permitted to return to work following an approved FMLA medical leave. Jim's Union believes he was terminated without just cause and in violation of the provisions of the parties current Collective Bargaining Agreement. Jim had aspirations of spending the rest of his career working for Healthpartners.Healthpartner had other ideas. We urge Healthpartners to return Jim to his former position so that he can provide the best care for patients and serve in the department he loves. Jim's termination has left him reeling. Again we implore Healthpartners to do the right thing and return Jim to the patients he desires to care for and the Department he loves.
