Most Respected Chief Secretary,
We the undersigned members of the International Sangha of Bodhi Shrawan Dharma Sangha, wish humbly to enquire after our global petition first humbly submitted to Your Kind Offices by registered post in late April, 2013. The Petition requests, as we do here once more most urgently request, Governmental assistance in facilitating Maha Sambodhi Dharma Sangha Guru’s global tour. Our Petition sought also to reclaim Dharmic Forest Status for the ancient and historical jungle of Halkhoria in Bara District.
About one thousand two hundred Sangha members from around the world had first personally signed said Petition inviting Guru to visit our fifty countries for bestowing His blessing, and allowing all the thousands of global devotees to join their Nepali fellow-devotees to return to Halkhoria for spiritual contemplation and Guru Darshan. For many years now, mostly Nepali citizens have been able to receive Guru’s blessing. It is time for beautiful Nepal to share its divine master with the rest of the world!
For this purpose Ms. Jyampa Lhaden, Director of the International Sangha, a year ago visited the Prime Minister’s Palace in person where she was advised to send our petition as a Registered Packet containing the Petition and the pages with our signatures. A copy of the Petition was subsequently delivered in person by Ms Lhaden to the Office of The Director of the NHRC, Kathmandu. She was received by an Officer who promised to discuss the situation in-house and forward Commission’s recommendations to the Government.
To date, however, nothing has come forth from Your Kind Offices or that of the NHRC. We hereby respectfully request a timely response to our repeated Petition, and appropriate action on your part in the not too distant future.
In full concert with the Nepali Sangha of Bodhi Shrawan Dharma Sangha, we of the International Sangha BSDS, hereunder do register our petition signatures.
