Inotiv, Inc. is an international contract research company in West Lafayette, Indiana. An undercover investigation conducted between August 2021 to March 2022 by The Humane Society of the United States revealed many horrific examples of severe abuse involving beagles and monkeys. We believe there are 48 beagles still alive in this research facility. Our understanding is that when the company has completed the testing on the beagles in November 2022, they plan to euthanize the dogs. Several animal rescue groups have reached out to Inotiv and offered to take the beagles and find them adoptive homes. These beagles are confined to barren cages, socially isolated, and psychologically traumatized. They are injected with and force fed toxins that cause them intense pain and suffering. Please join us in our fight to get Inotiv to release the 48 beagles to rescue groups by signing this petition. Please help us give these dogs, who have known nothing but fear, anxiety and pain in their lives, a second chance to live with a loving family. We will send this petition to the Governor and Attorney General of Indiana and ask them to take action and help our grassroots effort to save these beagles.
