Dress Code Adjustments - YES to Athletic Wear - Daily

A rigid upper school dress code has been thrust upon students and parents without prior review or input from parents. Results of the dress code survey has not been released. Transitioning from no dress code to such a restrictive dress code is causing undue hardship, unnecessarily. PA is a both a college preparatory school and an athletic powerhouse. PA produces National Merit Scholars, annually. PA athletics have won more than 60 state championships. Is the secret to PA's success in the way the upper school students dress? Absolutely not! If the majority would like to have a dress code, let the dress code be reasonable. Athletic wear should be allowed, daily.
