Our bees are under threat from toxic pesticides.
Right now, thanks to European Union (EU) rules, some neonicotinoid pesticides (neonics) are banned here and in other European countries.
But the result of the EU referendum could change that.
The government has rejected an attempt by the National Farmers' Union to use these toxic pesticides this year.
Whilst this is great news for bees, the government must now commit to banning pesticides for good.
Take action today.
Ask your MP to do the right thing for our bees.
Dear [Member of Parliament],
I welcome the Government's decision to reject the application by the National Farmers' Union (NFU) to use bee-harming pesticides this autumn.
But Britain's bees could be in even more danger from toxic neonicotinoid pesticides if current EU restrictions on neonics are lifted following the referendum result.
It's clear that the science of the threat to bees and other pollinators from pesticides containing neonicotinoids is now overwhelming – you can find out more in this briefing: at www.foe.co.uk/go/neonics.
Please ask Environment Secretary of State Andrea Leadsom MP to protect Britain's bees from dangerous neonics for good, and commit to pesticide regulations which are transparent, science-based and put human health and the environment first.

Predictions of widespread crop losses without the use of neonics have proved unfounded – with average oil seed rape crop yields up on last year. You can also see more about farming without neonics in Friends of the Earth's report at www.foe.co.uk/go/farmingalternatives.
I care deeply about the future of Britain's bees, and as my MP I'd like you to do everything you can to help them.
Please do all you can to protect bees from neonics. For good.
Yours sincerely,
