A school in Quebec City actually still uses live animals like piglets to train their resident pediatric trainees and other physicians as part of the study curriculum. While other 99 percent of programs use more modern human-based study methods, the Laval University continues to use these sweet, live animals. Complaints have been filed with the Canadian Council on Animal Care regarding the use of animals at the university and the facility is now under investigation.
