End the “Lychee and Dog Meat Festival” in China

Every year, in Yulin, Guangxi, China a Dog and Cat meat festival is held from June 21, through June 30. This petition is being made not necessarily only because they are eating these animals, but because of the way these animals are treated before they are killed. These animals are beaten, abused, and then killed for their meat. Not only that, many of these dogs and cats are stolen from people’s homes while they are sleeping. Sign this petition to raise awareness and to hopefully end the festival.
