In one video, he holds his dog down while choking it, hands locked around its neck. In another, he has the dog down on the ground while he wails on it repeatedly, hitting it over and over again with an object as the animal cries out in pain.

just two of the videos captured showing a man in Florida abusing his dog, a golden doodle named Benjamin.

So they installed a home surveillance camera outside their door - and that resulted in not only two videos capturing his cruelty, but a whole mountain of evidence.
The neighbors noted that in many recordings, Benjamin the dog can be heard screaming in distress while his owner beats him.
Authorities have since seized the dog and are ensuring he receives the proper veterinary care he needs. Meanwhile, they have charged his owner with animal cruelty.
