Michigan has a dirty little secret, and it's called child family services

FIRST, LOOK UP SUPREME COURT RULINGS ON CASES AGAINST CPS,AND CFS...  

 THIS IS MY STORY...My granddaughter is 10 years old. Both her parents recently were put in jail. CPS took amiah and put her in a foster home. She has been there over 5 months ,in that time they only allow her to see family once a month for 2 hrs. CPS told the judge that me being on the central registry was holding me up from bringing my granddaughter home.1,  I was NEVER TOLD I WAS PUT ON THIS REGISTRY ALMOST 20 YRS AGO, AND I WAS ONLY ON IT FROM MY DAUGHTER RUNNING AWAY.. NOT ABUSE ..so I submitted the paperwork necessary to remove my name from it, AND IT WAS GRANTED. Even though by law it should have been removed after 10 years. I notified cps /CFS of this outcome, as it was stated to.me and to the judge that's what was required  by CPS/CFS  to bring my granddbaby home. Once I provided that, they then said, WELL THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE,  They stated that a detective told them, to look at me very close as I had a hand in covering up information in my granddaughters parents case. I will not mention his name as I have not aquired his permission to use his name in this petition, but it will be brought to the judges attention. However I called this detective and he stated THAT IS A LIE. I contacted Cfs with this and they said they called him to verify, THAT TOO WAS A LIE. The detective then called CFS himself and clarified that lie with them. IN FACT THIS DETECTIVE STATED TO CPS, I WAS THE ONLY STABILITY THIS LITTLE GIRL HAS EVER KNOWN.Then it was well you have to get licensed, WHY,I AM HER GRANDMOTHER. HER FAMILY..  UNDER FIT AND WILLING FAMILY LAW SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RETURN TO FAMILY .I am in nursing and have been for over 20 yrs, in good standing with the community, Had our animal control reinstated in TRAVERSE city, work with A.C. Paws and foster  rescue dogs...I am good for my GRANDDAUGHTER. I started wondering why are they not putting my granddaughter back with me. As I did ALOT of research on CFS, I came to find out it's ALL ABOUT THEIR FUNDING. THEY GET 2000 TO 4000 DOLLARS A MONTH TO PLACE KIDS IN FOSTER CARE HERE IN MICHIGAN. MORE THAN 10,000 DOLLARS FOR EVERY ADOPTION they do. They want FAMILY MEMBERS TO GET LICENSED SO THEY GET FUNDING. WHICH CAN TAKE UP TO A YEAR TO GET LICENSED, HENCE KEEPING THE CHILD IN FOSTER CARE EVEN LONGER, AND DOING MUCH MORE DAMNAGE.BUT THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED THIS LICENSE .. All this when the child has beyond suitable housing to go to with a family member, ...HOW ARE WE LETTING THEM DO THIS? It has been stated that In Clare county, 50 percent of that county's kids are in foster care. My granddaughter and I have a VERY close bond, I had temporary custody of her 2 years ago for a year. At that time my granddaughter EXCELLED while with me, but had to be given back when her parents were out of jail. CPS/CFS has overwhelming evidence of my love and capability of caring for my granddaughter, YET THEY WILL NOT RETURN HER TO ME , I'M ALWAYS ASKED TO DO ONE THING MORE THAN THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED.. CPS/CFS stated to the judge all I needed to do was remove myself from the registry... CFS I HAVE DONE THIS.I LEGALLY HAVE A RIGHT UNDER THE DWAYNE B DECENT DECREE TO HAVE AMIAH PLACED BACK WITH FAMILY EMMEDIATLY. THEY HAVE LIED, INTIMIDATED,ALTERED DOCUMENTS, AND HAVE CAUSED SEVERE MENTAL DISTRESS ON MY GRANDDAUGHTER, SHE HAS BEEN TOLD SHE COULD GET ADOPTED AND SHOULD KNOW WHAT A REAL FAMILY IS... HOW ARE THEY TELLING HER THIS WHEN PARENTS HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN SENTANCED.  AND SHE HAS A LOVING EXSTENDED FAMILY..????  we see each other once a month, and the pain I see in my granddbabys eyes when they take her after 2 hrs breaks my heart, and has ripped my soul out. SHE HAS STATED TO CPS/CFS , ALL SHE WANTS TO DO IS BE WITH HER GRAM GRAM.THIS...NEEDS...TO...STOP..MICHIGAN...PLEASE, HELP ME FIGHT FOR MY BABY GIRL. PLEASE SIGN MY PETITION TO BRING MY GRANDDBABY HOME.. THEY ARE HARMING OUR CHILDREN THEY ARE PAID TO PROTECT.. . I WILL NOT LET MY GRANDDAUGHTER FUND THEIR PROGRAM ANY LONGER. I want things said to me to be TRUTHFUL, I want to feel like through this process AMIAH is the main focus and the best interest for her... RIGHT NOW I DO NOT.. I JUST WANT SOME ANSWERS ON WHY THIS ALL WAS DONE.  BECAUSE RIGHT NOW , I HAVE ONLY BEEN PUT IN THE POSITION OF THINKING THEY ARE NOT FOR FAMILY'S FIRST, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TRUTHFUL. ..ANY FAMILY SHOULD AT THE MINIMUM FEEL LIKE THEIR ENTITY CARES ABOUT YOUR PAIN, HOW YOUR HEART HAS BEEN RIPPED OUT. WE NEED BETTER TRAINING FOR THE WORKERS TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LOVING HOME, AND ONE THAT IS NOT IN THE CHILD BEST INTEREST.. ALL I WANT IS ANSWERS WHY MORE PAIN WAS PUT ON HER THAN THE REASON FOR TAKING HER.

UPDATE, AS OF 6/15 THEY HAVE REMOVED ALL PHONE CONTACT FROM AMIAH AND I,  AS THEY SAID ME TELLING HER I WAS OUT HERE FIGHTING LIKE HECK TO GET HER OUT OF FOSTER CARE WAS NOT IN HER BEST INTEREST..  WHAT IS IN HER BEST INTEREST THEN, LETTING HER THINK NOBODY CARES. MICHIGAN WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE.... MY SOUL IS GONE..PLEASE, PLEASE PRAY FOR AMIAH AND SHARE MY PETITION. WE NEED TO CHANGE CPS/CFS LAWS.
