Urge Punishment for Teen That Kills Kittens out of Boredom and Post on Face book

I just don’t understand how kids these days think it is okay to abuse animals as a form of entertainment!!!!  What is going on?  A teen was bored in Indiana recently and thought he would fill his leisure time, rather than part time work, sports and other fun activities, by hunting down poor defenseless kittens with a bow and arrow and then posting their mutilated bodies on Face Book!!!!!!!!!!

This 17-year old boy said he was bored out of his mind, so he thought he would go hunt cats.  He speared one kitten through the head and disemboweled the other one, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s office. After he finished his “hunt,” he put the photographs on his Face book page. The photos included pictures of him pretending to eat the kittens, and were so gruesome they were ultimately removed by Face Book. Officials stated that the photos were very disturbing and psychotic. An anonymous tip came from a Face Book viewer who alerted the Lake County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana and the teen was brought in and charged with animal cruelty.  Of course, he can’t be charged as an adult; he is a juvenile who will get off with a slap on the wrist and back to his demented idea of fun!!!  Even adults don’t seem to face proper punishment for animal abuse and cruelty!!  We must get legislators to develop and enforce stronger laws and harsher punishment for abusers of poor defenseless creatures without a voice – and kids need to learn from parents and schools to have more respect and compassion for loving, living beings!
