Demand the Humane Slaughter Act Include Every Animal Species
The U.S. Humane Slaughter Act, federal law requiring an animal insensible to pain prior to slaughter, was approved August 1958 and still excludes a few species: rabbits, chickens, poultry, and other birds. As factory farming production increases, laws need to improve and implement drastically on so many levels! Please, evolve the Humane Slaughter Act according to increased animal cruelty cases immediately.
