Tell Joe Manchin: "Don't run for president, you'll only help Trump win"

Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia has announced that he will not run for senate next year, and is instead mulling a run for president as an independent.

Tell him not to do it.

Manchin has no chance of winning as an independent. He simply does not have the base of support to have even a long-shot chance. But he can strip away votes from Biden, and help tip the election to Trump. Which would be a disaster.

If Manchin cares about America, and if he wants to prevent a slide into a fascist future, he will do everything he can to ensure that Donald Trump does not win. Which means not running.
